About Us
As a
New Testament Baptist church we believe it is important for us not only
to represent God's truth accurately in our community, but to take an
active role in accomplishing what God has placed us in this group of
believers for.

We
believe that the purpose of this New Testament church is to lead people
into true relationship with God and other believers; equip them to grow
in those relationships; and facilitate their ministry to others for
God's glory.
Church History
Sterling Baptist Church has been around since the 1950's, initially as a
Baptist Mid-Missions church, having the church property signed over by
President Dwight D. Eisenhower for the purpose of establishing a church in
Sterling. In July of 1981 the church voted to incorporate and has
continued to minister on the corner of Sterling Highway and Swanson River
Road ever since. |
